The 9th Annual Illuminated Ball 8 p.m. Saturday, Eagle’s Grand Ballroom, 805 Fourth Ave. E., Olympia. Proceeds support the annual Procession of the Species in April. This fundraiser is an elegant event featuring dance, music, and luminary performances by local artists. There will be appetizers and libations. Tickets are $65 through Feb. 2 or $75 at the door. Turning Pointe’s 4th Annual Brewhouse Bash Relax, listen to good music, win prizes and help Turning Pointe Domestic Violence Services continue to help victims. The event runs 5-8 p.m. Feb. 15 at Grove Street Brewhouse, corner of First and Grove streets, Shelton. A raffle for a wheelbarrow of wine is just one of the features of this event.
