Staff writer Meg Wochnick’s five sporting events to see this week around South Sound: Black Hills was 0-for-2 against Evergreen Conference champion W.F. West in the regular season. With a regional berth on the line in the district semifinal meeting, will the Wolves pull off the win?

When: Tuesday 7:45 p.m.

Where: Centralia High School River Ridge looks to make it 13 straight wins when it faces Evergreen Conference-rival W.F. West in the 2A District IV semifinals with a regional berth on the line.

When: Wednesday 7:45 p.m.

Where: Centralia High School Preliminaries for the Class 2A meet start the first day of the boys swimming and diving championships, with the final day Saturday.

When: Friday 8 a.m.

Where: King County Aquatic Center, Federal Way Area wrestlers, including Timberline’s Stone Hart and Yelm’s Darren Harris, look to repeat as state champions at Mat Classic XXV.

When: Friday and Saturday

Where: Tacoma Dome Saint Martin’s tries to remain in the hunt for a berth in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference tournament when it hosts Western Oregon with five regular-season games remaining.

When: Saturday 7 p.m.
