Kindergarten tuition, budget process on tap for Olympia School Board

Olympia School Board will hold an executive session to discuss collective bargaining and personnel matters at 6 p.m. Monday at Washington Middle School, 3100 Cain Road SE, Olympia.

At 6:30 p.m., the board will convene a regular meeting that is open to the public. Agenda items include:

*A presentation about Washington Middle School including demonstrations by the school’s Robotics Club and robotics class.

*A report on Capital High School’s After School Academic Program.

*An update on 2013-14 full-time kindergarten tuition and scholarships.

*A preview of the survey tool and process that will be used to obtain staff and community feedback as the district prepares its upcoming budget.

*A certificated personnel report. It notes that Gayle Mar-Chun, principal of Madison Elementary School, will retire effective June 28.
