No students injured in Olympia school bus crash

An Olympia School District bus was involved in a crash at about 4 p.m. today in the roundabout on Yelm Highway and Boulevard Road, according to district spokeswoman Rebecca Japhet.

“At this point, it doesn’t appear that there were injuries to students or staff, and another bus was brought in to finish the route,” she said.

The bus was taking students home from Centennial Elementary School. It was on the district’s Route 24.

The crash is being investigated by the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office, Japhet said. No other details were available.
