Utility work along Trosper Road in Tumwater will snarl up traffic Monday, according to a news release.

Contractors will be working on two projects causing lane closures both ways along Trosper Road Southwest.

The westbound lane will close between Louise Street Southwest and Lambskin Street Southwest from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. as Pacific Utility Contractors Inc. crews install a fiber conduit for CenturyLink.

The eastbound lanes from Littlerock Road Southwest to Tyee Drive Southwest will be intermittently closed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. as Puget Sound Energy crews repair a utility vault on the shoulder of the road.

Those who frequent the area are being asked to take alternate routes. Work is expected to be complete by 4 p.m.

For information, call the Tumwater Public Works Department at 360-754-4140.
