The fun starts at 2 p.m. at the Tumwater Timberland Library, 7023 New Market St. SW.SATURDAY -- Moms and sons: Mothers come out with your sons for a night of active games and free ice cream sundaes at the annual PALAPALOOZA Mother Son event from 6-9 p.m. Saturday. Designed to bring mothers and sons together for a special night, the evening also encourages all types of mother figures to join in, from aunts to grandmothers, for a night of bonding. There is no cover for the show, but reservations are recommended to ensure you get a seat.SUNDAY -- All kinds of dance: The fourth annual OLYMPIA DANCE FESTIVAL happens Sunday afternoon, and 10 South Sound dance companies will present a sampling of styles from ballet to belly. For the first time, however, the festival also features a guest artist, and a high-profile one at that: Pacific Northwest Ballet principal dancer MARIA CHAPMAN, who will perform two solos from "Swan Lake."
