Thurston EDC announces finalists for business recognition awards

The Thurston Economic Development Council has announced 12 finalists for its business recognition awards program in April.

Here are the finalists:

-New business: Limeberry, Providence Health & Services (distribution operations center), Vision Uniquely Experienced.

-Small business: Ice Chips Candy Company, Meconi's Italian Subs, Williams Group Marketing + Design.

-Corporate employer: Alaffia, Panorama, TwinStar Credit Union.

-Nonprofit organization: Big Brothers, Big Sisters of SW Washington, Boys & Girls Club of Thurston County, Family Support Center of South Sound.

Finalists in each category will be announced at the EDC's annual meeting and business recognition awards program. The program is set for April 9 at the Red Lion Hotel Olympia.
