TONIGHT: North Thurston School Board to hear report on impact of sequestration



North Thurston School Board will hear a report on possible sequestration spending cuts that could affect South Sound’s largest school district during its meeting at 7 p.m. today at the John W. Gott Administrative Center, 305 College St. NE, Lacey.

Other agenda items include:

*Recognition of staff and a consideration of a resolution to declare March 11-15 as Classified School Employee Week.

*Consideration of a resolution to urge the state Legislature to address K-12 funding.

*A report on the district’s math initiatives.
