Learn about culture and traditions during an International Night celebration from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday at McKenny Elementary School, 3250 Morse-Merryman Road SE, Olympia.
Students at the school will bring in artifacts, traditional items and food that represent their family heritage.
About 10 students from The Evergreen State Colleges English Language Program will create booths for the event, which will feature a Bhangra dance group, Chinese folk dances and an Aztec dance group.
The annual event is open to the community.

Here's a feature that I wrote about last year's celebration.
