The Thurston County Sheriff's Office is notifying the public that level 3 sex offender, Eric Rearden, 36, has registered to live in the 2500 block of 174th Avenue SE, in Tenino.

On Oct. 7, 2003, Rearden pleaded guilty in Thurston County Superior Court to first-degree burglary with sexual motivation, and second-degree assault. He was sentenced to 84 months in jail. The conviction stems from Rearden, at 27, entering the home of an unknown 26-year-old woman and forcing her at knife-point to perform a sexual act.

Rearden is described as a white male, 6 feet 4 inches and 360 lbs., with brown hair and hazel eyes.
