Reduce gun violence by respecting life

OlympiaMarch 14, 2013

Guns and gun control legislation are the new hot topic. Our legislators are working on the wrong solutions. We need to start at the beginning.

I see the root cause of gun violence as a failure to respect life. So my questions is, “How do we teach respect for life when killing an unborn child by abortion is enshrined in laws made, supported and defended by our government?”

Think about it. Millions of unborn children are killed every year and our government says this is a right, and government must protect that right on behalf of all citizens. If you want to reduce the culture that leads to gun violence, start at the beginning by respecting life from its true beginning.
