Troopers arrested 51 suspected drunken drivers in Thurston, Pierce counties over weekend

Washington State Patrol troopers said they arrested 51 suspected drunken drivers in Pierce and Thurston counties over the St. Patrick’s Day weekend.

Additional law enforcement officers patrolled the roads in an effort to cut down on DUIs over the holiday weekend. Numbers from the overall emphasis patrol were not immediately available.
