It didn't take long for Matt Hasselbeck to find a job.

Released Monday by the Tennessee Titans, the 37-year-old quarterback has signed with Indianapolis to become the backup to Andrew Luck.

Hasselbeck spent the past two seasons with the Titans, starting all 16 games for the club in 2011. He found himself as the backup to Jake Locker at the start of the 2012 campaign, but started five games after Locker injured his shoulder.

In eight games overall, Hasselbeck threw for 1,367 yards with seven touchdowns and five interceptions.

The Boston College product has also played for Green Bay and Seattle during a 14-year career. He had his greatest success with the Seahawks, leading the club to its first Super Bowl appearance after the 2005 season.

Hasselbeck has completed 60.4 percent of his passes for 34,517 yards with 201 touchdowns and 147 interceptions.
