Tuesday’s highlights

A nine-run fifth inning by Enumclaw helped the Hornets to a 13-9 non-league baseball victory over Yelm, despite 14 hits by the Tornados.

Senior shortstop Eddie Pablo and freshman outfielder Dallon Matthews each went 3-for-4 and drove in a combined five runs.

Adna scored 13 runs in the final three innings for a 14-1 win over Northwest Christian. Nick Kosierowski went 1-for-2 and drove in the Navigators’ fourth-inning run.

Christian Hernandez’s goal in the 25th minute off a free kick was all South Kitsap needed for a 1-0 victory over Olympia in 4A Narrows League boys soccer action.

Kayla Monroe shot a 5-over-par 40 at Meadow Park Golf Course to help lift Tumwater to a 196-210 non-league girls golf victory over Charles Wright Academy.

Yelm’s TiAnna Ford earned medalist honors with a 10-over 47, but Stadium defeated the Tornados, 79-68, in 4A Narrows League play.

Mossyrock topped Rainier, 10-0, in two innings, handing the Mountaineers their third fastpitch loss.
