Employees at the Heath Care Authority building, off Eighth Avenue, in downtown Olympia were evacuated Thursday after security found a threatening message written on a bathroom wall.
Olympia police officers were called to investigate after the message was found on a fourth floor bathroom around 10 a.m., according to police spokesperson Laura Wohl.
"It said a bomb would go off at 1:15 p.m.," Wohl said. "We went and with their building security, did a sweep of the building and found nothing at all."
Olympia police officers cleared the building around 11 a.m.
Wohl said building administrators decided to evacuate the building during the time mentioned in the threat as a precaution.
"It was up to their security people - we didn't suggest it," Wohl said.
