Telephone town hall for 20th Legislative District Wednesday

April 1, 2013

State Sen. John Braun, R-Centralia; Rep. Richard DeBolt, R-Chehalis; and Rep. Ed Orcutt, R-Kalama, will host a telephone town hall meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday for residents of the 20th Legislative District.

Constituents can participate by calling toll-free 1-877-229-8493 and then when prompted, entering pin number 15588.

Listeners will have the opportunity to ask their elected officials questions (by pressing *3) or they can just listen to the conversation. They also will be able to answer poll questions provided by the legislators.

“I’m looking forward to a positive, constructive dialogue with constituents,” Orcutt said. “With about a month left in the legislative session, there are still a lot of issues out there that will impact people’s lives.”

“This technology allows us to reach out to thousands of constituents and share our perspectives on the legislative session,” said DeBolt, the House Republican leader.
