Background checks can prevent violence

OlympiaApril 3, 2013

The controversy over gun laws is not going to go away as long as there are daily instances of gun-related violence committed by people who should not have had access to a gun.

Case in point, grandfather solves domestic dispute with son by shooting him.

There was a history of domestic disturbance in this case.

Background checks do help reduce these incidents.

Please let our legislators know there is widespread support for background checks.
