Olympia scored nine runs over the final three innings to beat Capital, 14-5, in a non-league game. Gabe Padukiewicz had two doubles and drove in five runs for Olympia, and Joey Knight went 3-for-4 with three RBI. For Capital, Cameron Monda went 2-for-4 and scored twice.

North Thurston defeated Shelton, 7-0, and Timberline topped Wilson, 5-2, as both teams remained unbeaten. They will meet Friday with first place in the 3A Narrows League on the line.

Justin Graham drove in two runs in Tumwater’s 7-4 loss to W.F. West in a 2A Evergreen Conference game.


W.F. West defeated Tumwater for the second consecutive game — this time, 3-2 — in the 2A Evergreen Conference. Marissa Reynolds went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI for the Bearcats.

Aurora Gouley (2-for-4, two runs scored) and Kennedy O’Connor (2-for-3, three runs) led Shelton to a 12-3 win over Mount Tahoma.
