Amber Alert issued for Marysville boy canceled

April 24, 2013

UPDATE: The Amber Alert has been canceled. The boy has reportedly been found safe.

An Amber Alert has been issued tonight for Venjamin Seth Wright, a 6-year-old Marysville boy who was last seen just after noon at 1350 Cedar Avenue.

According to the alert:

Venjamin is autistic, and has the mental capacity of an 18-month-old.

His mother, Shannan Christine Guest, did not allow Child Protective Services into her home when they arrived to do a welfare check on the boy, and she told them she would “flee the area if things did not go her way,” the alert says.

When officials returned with a court order of removal, Guest had fled the area with boyfriend Gary Howard Cooper in a white 2012 Ford Focus.

They are possibly on their way to Los Angeles, Calif.

Venjamin was last seen wearing a yellow t-shirt and black pants and shoes.

He is white, and has brown hair and brown eyes.

His mother is a white 37-year-old who is five foot four and 140 pounds.

Her boyfriend is 32-years-old, six foot four and 150 pounds. He is white with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Venjamin’s whereabouts should call 911.
