Dominique Greeno belted her eighth home run of the spring, and Annie Koehler pitched a five-inning no-hitter in North Thurston’s 10-0 win over Foss in the 3A Narrows League. The Rams (13-4 overall) can clinch the league title with a win over Timberline on Monday.

Black Hills broke a tie in the bottom of the seventh to pull out an 8-7 win over River Ridge. Lexi Tarrow went 2-for-4 to pace the Wolves.

North Thurston, the 3A Narrows champion, topped Olympia, 3-2, in the teams’ non-league match to close out the regular season, led by victories in Nos. 1 and 2 singles from Ainsley Winterrowd and Shanelle Enlow.

The Capitol City Tennis and Athletic Center will host the 4A and 3A Narrows League tournaments beginning May 2.


Justin Polvin struck out eight batters and went 3-for-3, including a three-run home run and four RBI, in Yelm’s 10-1 win over Stadium in a 4A Narrows League game.

Brad Wallace pitched a four-hit complete game and also had a two-run double as part of a four-run sixth-inning in River Ridge’s 5-0 victory over Black Hills.

Tumwater won its fourth game in a row and separated itself from Centralia by 11/2 games in the 2A EvCo standings for the No. 3 playoff seed with its 3-2 win over Capital.

Van Soderberg notched his second shutout in goal in the past three games in Capital’s 5-0 win against W.F. West in the 2A EvCo.
