Resident doesn’t enjoy Percival Landing art

OlympiaApril 27, 2013

Along the walkway at the waterfront downtown, heading towards the new bridge are some pieces that look like someone was trying to use up their spare metal chunks.

One piece looks like some paranoid fighter was trying to make a sword with as many points as possible. It is an ugly, pointless, dangerous looking hunk of scrap metal. The other one looks like someone was using razor barb wire as the model but much bigger.

Did the city use our tax money for that crap? Is is supposed to be enjoyable?

Olympia certainly seems to love physically dangerous and ugly displays. I cannot call it art.
