Obamacare will reduce options for the infirmed

I very much appreciated Kathleen Rogers’ recent piece regarding the bitter pill of Obamacare. Her observation regarding the new 2012 Medicare caps was correct. From my own personal experience last fall following hip fracture, Medicare’s newly imposed cap for physical therapy runs out before full recovery can be made.

One wonders the point of further medical research and advancement if, in the end, those advancements will not be available to the patient because they are deemed too costly by government bureaucrats.

Obamacare will only serve to reduce health care options for the American people, resulting in diminished quality of life for millions of citizens of all age groups; more so for the aging and infirmed amongst us.
