Fail this Congress on its sorry performance

OlympiaMay 3, 2013

How can we respect this Congress? Not that the sequester on air traffic control didn’t need to be lifted, but in our legislators’ usual selfish way, they did it now because they were going on recess and did not want to be inconvenienced.

Forget any other phase of the sequester, no matter how much it hurts the rest of us. We could mention their sorry performance on the weakest of laws on background checks that they couldn’t pass.

If there is a grade of F-minus, they have earned it.
