DUI suspected in Shelton crash that injured 2

May 4, 2013

Washington State Patrol Troopers suspect alcohol was a factor in a roll over crash that injured two in Shelton Friday night.

A 32-year-old Union woman was driving a 1999 Acura 23cl coupe east in the 4000 block of Arcadia Road when the car went off the road and into a ditch.

The car flipped onto its top.

The Union woman and her 38-year-old passenger, a Spokane woman, were both injured and taken to Mason General Hospital in Shelton.

Investigating troopers say the cause of the crash was alcohol and tires off the road.

The Union woman is being accused of driving under the influence.
