Olympia medical building evacuated after bomb threat

Update: According to Olympia Police spokesperson Laura Wohl, the investigation is complete, and there is no bomb. A 49 year old Olympia woman has been detained while police investigate whether to charge her for making the bomb threat, a class B felony.

An Olympia medical building has been evacuated after a woman claimed to have left a bag of bombs at the facility Tuesday, according to a news release.

Olympia Police Officers are at the scene in the 500 block of Lilly Road. Employees told police a woman they knew left bags at the site at around 11 a.m then later called saying there were bombs inside, but gave no further details.

The building has been evacuated. The Washington State Patrol bomb squad is investigating.

The woman who allegedly left the bags is in police custody.
