Police investigate downtown Olympia stabbing

Olympia police are investigating a stabbing outside King Solomon's Reef downtown that occurred about 11 p.m. Monday night, an OPD spokeswoman said.

The victim was located at the Intercity Transit bus station with a stab wound to the back. He was taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital, where he underwent surgery Monday night, OPD spokeswoman Laura Wohl said.

Detectives were following up on leads Tuesday morning, she said.
