Shelton police investigate Tuesday night stabbing

Shelton police are investigating a stabbing that occurred during a robbery at a residence in the 100 block of West Cota Street Tuesday night.

When officers arrived on scene about 9:30 p.m., the 53-year-old victim was conscious and alert. He was treated for a non life-threatening laceration to his right hip, and was transported to Mason General Hospital.

There are no suspects in custody.
