Sleeping better now that he is informed

LaceyJune 10, 2013

Thanks to Jon Strange’s letter to the editor (Olympian, May 29) I have a newfound respect for the military helicopters flying over my house at all hours of the day and night.

I mean, who would have thought that the lowly (no pun intended) helicopter is keeping us “free from harm from terrorists, homegrown militants” and countries that would otherwise use “nuclear and/or chemical weapons” against us.

Maybe we should get rid of all our other military weapons and just go with the helicopters.

Anyway, now that I’m informed, I’ll probably sleep right through my windows rattling tonight.
