27 cadets to become Washington State troopers Wednesday

Cadets will become Washington State Troopers Wednesday afternoon during a graduation ceremony at the Capitol Rotunda.

The 27 members of the 101st Basic Training Class will graduate and become troopers, ready to work the states highways and state routes.

Wednesday's 2 p.m. ceremony is the culmination of 26 weeks of basic training.

The graduates and their assigned districts include:

• Bradley T. Beattie, Bellingham

• Karl A. Borgen, Monroe

• Jacob R. Brewer, Chehalis

• Jessie L. Dell, Yakima

• Jeffrey B. Eifert, Okanogan

• Brian W. Gavin, Tacoma
