Miller lifts deed restriction preventing alcohol production at former Olympia brewery

June 20, 2013

MillerCoors has agreed to lift the deed restriction that prevented alcohol from being produced at the former Olympia brewery property, the commercial real estate broker for the property said Thursday.

The move likely improves the marketability of a site that has largely sat dormant and unchanged since it closed 10 years ago this month.

"It's going to change the perception of the complex dramatically," said Troy Dana, the broker who has been trying to sell the property since 2008.
