Centralia Station gets phase one funding

July 3, 2013

A mixed-use development called Centralia Station has received phase one funding after the state Legislature included a $750,000 appropriation for the project, according to a Port of Centralia news release.

The funds will be used for stormwater construction and enhancements related to the project, which will be developed near the new Mellen Street interchange in Centralia.

Centralia Station is envisioned to include major retailers, community college facilities, retail spaces, office spaces, medical facilities, restaurants, a tech warehouse, walkways and sports fields, according to the news release.
