South Sound Estuarium needs volunteers to staff center

July 12, 2013

The South Sound Estuarium, the marine life discovery center that opened in downtown Olympia Thursday, needs more volunteers to help staff the center at 608 Washington St. N.E.

Several of the activities at the center require more volunteers to fully utiliize them, according to South Sound Estuary Association officials.

Volunteers can sign up for three-hour shifts either 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Thursdays through Sundays. For more information contact Lisa Anderson at andersolis@cwu.EDU.

The Olympian is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news.
