Olympia police have obtained an arrest warrant for a knife-wielding man suspected of the July 18 robbery of Timberland Bank in downtown Olympia.
Olympia police have identified him as Daniel Scot Stone, 24, based on bank surveillance footage.
During the robbery, the suspect brandished a knife, then ran off with an undisclosed sum of cash.
Detectives have been unable to locate Stone but have reason to believe he might still be in the Olympia area, OPD spokeswoman Laura Wohl said Tuesday.
Stone’s last known address was in Tumwater.
Olympia police urge anyone with information about Stone’s whereabouts to call 911. Also, anyone who sees Stone should not approach him because he is considered armed and dangerous.
