DUI suspected in crash that injured Rainier man

A 75-year-old Rainier man accused of driving under the influence was injured after crashing into a pole on state Route 507 Wednesday night, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The man was driving a 1932 Ford convertible north on state Route 507 at 7:20 p.m. when he went off the roadway to the left, hitting a telephone pole.

The man was injured and taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The man is accused of driving under the influence.
