Phil Roy of PACLAB Network Laboratories in Olympia delivers a boxful of school supplies during the "Radio Day" fundraiser for the Little Red Schoolhouse Project at MIXX-96.1 radio station in downtown Olympia on Friday, Aug. 10, 2012. In addition to cash donations from passing motorists, the collection day brought in donations of supplies and money from individuals, groups and businesses. The annual Little Red Schoolhouse event provides free clothing, backpacks and school supplies for anyone who needs it. The giveaway will take place next Thursday, Aug. 16, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at a new location, Capital High School in west Olympia. In 2011, the event served more than 3,000 students and 900 families.
