Sapp Road in Tumwater closes Monday for construction

Sapp Road in Tumwater will close Monday while contractors replace pavement over a new utility trench, according to a city news release.

The road will close between Klahowya Lane Southwest and R.W. Johnson Boulevard S.W. at 7 a.m. Aug. 26. The road is expected to reopen by 6 p.m. that day.

Residents will be given access to and from their homes within the construction area, but those who frequent the area are advised to take alternate routes.
