Lacey City Council is seeking applicants to fill several vacancies on the Planning Commission.

Interviews for the positions will be held later this year, with the positions filled in early 2014.

The Planning Commission develops recommendations for long range planning, and incorporates ideas into comprehensive planning goals and policies. Meetings take place on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at Lacey City Hall.

Commission members serve a three-year term with a two-term limit.

Those interested in applying to serve on the Planning Commission should contact Peri Edmonds, at 360-438-2620, or by email to pedmonds@ci.lacey.wa.us.

The application is also available at ci.lacey.wa.us. When submitting an application, you should also submit a letter of interest and résumé.
