Bridge repairs close I-5 lanes, ramps near Olympia

Repairs to bridge joints on Interstate 5 are expected to begin Tuesday night, resulting lane and ramp closures, according to the state Department of Transportation. 

Crews will close a lane of southbound I-5 at Henderson Boulevard, milepost 105 at 10 p.m. Tuesday. The lane will reopen by 5 a.m. Wednesday. 

The two left northbound lanes of I-5 at Henderson Boulevard will close at 10 p.m. Wednesday, reopening by 5 a.m. Thursday. 

Multiple lanes and ramps will close at 10 p.m. Thursday night, including the northbound I-5 lane near the I-5 and Highway 101 merge, extending into a double lane closure at Henderson Boulevard; the left southbound lane of Highway 101 approaching I-5; the Deschutes Parkway on ramp to northbound I-5 and the northbound I-5 Exit 105 to the Olympia City Center.

All lanes and ramps are expected to reopen by 5 a.m. Friday.
