A candlelight vigil is scheduled from 10 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday at Capitol Lake in honor of Derrick “Dudeman” McDougal.

The event, which is open to the public, will feature musicians around the lake. Those who play are invited to bring an instrument to the vigil which was organized through the Olympia Memes Facebook page.

Donations of nonperishable food will be collected for the Thurston County Food Bank, and donations of pet food will be collected for Concern for Animals.
