$15 minimum wage like leaning into a left hook

OlympiaSeptember 11, 2013

It appears socialist agitators have suckered fast food restaurant workers into demanding a $15-an-hour minimum wage. I have a reality check for the workers – they need to self-protectively cash it.

That $15 an hour wage would constitutionally have to apply to all employment, and that stops all commerce, fast food included, driving costs though the proverbial roof, closing businesses’ doors and killing millions more jobs. I can’t think of a state legislator that is stupid enough to buy that for a minute.

It’s like leaning into a left hook. It doesn’t end well.
