Department of Fish and Wildlife will conduct prescribed fire Wednesday

Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife will conduct a prescribed fire today, approximately four  miles northwest of Tenino on West Rocky Prairie Wildlife Area.

Smoke may be visible from Interstate-5. The purpose of this controlled burn is to improve and restore wildlife habitat.
