CeeLo Green has canceled his Thursday evening concert at the Washington State Fair because he is sick.

His publicist put out a statement: “As a result of a bad case of laryngitis and acute sinusitis, CeeLo Green has been advised by his doctor to rest his voice and not fly until further notice. Unfortunately, he will not be able to perform tomorrow night at the Washington State Fair, and sincerely apologizes to his fans and hopes for a quick recovery.”

Ticket holders have two options. The fair is requesting that either option be completed by Sept. 22. They are:

Exchange your tickets for another grandstand show at the 2013 Washington State Fair. The ticket holder will be responsible for the price difference if the selection is a higher-priced ticket. For lower priced selections, refunds for the difference will be made. This transaction must be completed by emailing boxoffice@thefair.com, or by visiting the Fair box office in person with your ticket.

Or return the ticket for a refund, which also includes convenience charge refund. This transaction must be completed by emailing boxoffice@thefair.com or by visiting the Fair box office in person with your ticket.

Ticket holders may still use the Fair gate admission portion of their ticket to attend the Fair Thursday. Fair officials say this will not effect the exchange or return of your ticket. The gate admission is a $12.50 value.
