Sidewalk coordinated by Interfaith Works

OlympiaSeptember 30, 2013

Thanks to John Dodge for the fantastic coverage of the highly successful SideWalk program — a program designed to end homelessness. Many readers may not realize that an organization that helped coordinate that effort is the faith-based Interfaith Works group.

That’s the same group that continues to work toward ending homelessness through promoting a low-barrier shelter in our community. Interfaith Works deserves wide public support for their effort to serve “the least of these.”

The Olympian is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
