PSE: about 350 Thurston County customers don't have power

Staff writerSeptember 30, 2013

Puget Sound Energy has reduced the number of Thurston County customers that don't have power to about 350, according to an outage list that was updated at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

That's quite a bit lower than midnight Sunday when PSE reported that about 12,000 customers, mostly in Thurston, Skagit and Kitsap counties, did not have power.

Power was knocked out due to a fall storm that swept through the area Sunday night and early Monday morning, bringing with it torrential rain, strong winds and a thunderstorm.
