Capital junior running back Conner Kennedy received national recognition this week by the National Federation of State High School Association (NFHS). Kennedy's 80-yard touchdown run in the Cougars' 49-22 loss to Tumwater last Friday (Sept. 27) is listed No. 5 on the NFHS's Top 10 high school football plays of the week.

Kennedy avoids four Tumwater defenders, and bulldozes over a T-Bird defender near the left sideline on his way to the touchdown. The clip of Kennedy starts at the 2:13 mark of the video.
