The Olympia School District will host a public forum from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, at the Jefferson Middle School library, 2200 Conger Ave. NW, Olympia.
The purpose of the meeting is to gather input about items that might be included in a renewal of the district’s 2010 technology levy, should the School Board decide to place a measure before voters in February.
The district’s 2010 levy will expire at the end of 2014, and has paid for a variety of instructional and operational technologies in schools, computer labs, infrastructure upgrades and other tech enhancements.
A second technology forum will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21, at the Knox Administrative Center board room, 1113 Legion Way SE, Olympia.
