Winner: Tumwater's Easton Trakel -- Vote for prep football player of the week: Week 6

Here are this week's five nominees after their Week 6 gridiron performances. Voting ends at noon Tuesday.

 

-- Capital's Jakob Racimo accounted for four touchdowns -- two on offense (29- and 16-yard TD receptions) and two on defense (36-yard fumble recovery, 36-yard INT) -- in the Cougars’ 47-7 win over 3A North Thurston.

 

-- Tumwater’s Easton Trakel had a game-high 131 rushing yards on eight carries (including an 87-yard TD run) and four catches for 84 yards in Tumwater’s 26-14 win over 4A Bellarmine Prep.

 

-- W.F. West's Bryan Moon caught half of QB Tanner Gueller’s passes -- nine for 137 yards -- in the Bearcats’ 35-19 win over Black Hills.

 

-- Timberline's Stevie Cleveland had a 92-yard kickoff return for a TD to open the second half, seven tackles (1 TFL) and one pass breakup in the Blazers’ 19-13 win over Foss.

 

-- River Ridge’s Chris Leiba had the go-ahead 1-yard TD on fourth-and-goal, and 19-yard reception to set up a TD, and an interception that led ti a field goal in the Hawks’ 17-13 come-from-behind win over Centralia.
