If Romneycare works in Massachusetts, why not Obamacare?

LaceyOctober 15, 2013

K athleen Rogers’ (The Olympian Oct. 7) rant against Obamacare is right out the the GOP playbook. The Affordable Care Act really should be called Romneycare because it was patterned after Mitt Romney’s creation in Massachusetts (which seems to be doing quite well, thank you). Somehow, the plan works in Massachusetts, but not in any other state. Hmmmm. But we should keep in mind that the GOP was strongly against Social Security and Medicare, and they used the same doomsday rhetoric then that they are now using against Obamacare.
