Selby has business sense, support city arts, culture

OlympiaOctober 19, 2013

As a candidate for Olympia City Council, Cheryl Selby is a savvy small-business owner and creative thinker who brings people together to bring good ideas to reality. Over the years she has provided leadership for numerous local efforts for kids, economic development, public safety and the arts. Cheryl recognizes the arts here are key to Olympia’s economic vitality, and works relentlessly to put a spotlight on the arts, culture and heritage of our unique city.

She is working with many others in the community to build a residential community and new opportunities for artists in the greater Olympia area. Creating community through the arts will enhance the region’s economy, improve the livability and quality of life, and provide a new center for creativity. Cheryl Selby has the leadership, can-do attitude and vision that is needed on Olympia’s City Council.
