Final open house for Tumwater Brewery District planning project set for Thursday

A third and final community open house meeting to review the preferred alternative plan for the Tumwater Brewery District planning project is set for 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at South Sound Manor, 455 North St. S.E., Tumwater.

The city is working with land owners, businesses, residents and other stakeholders to develop a long-range vision and action plan for the 300-acre area that surrounds the former brewery.

Those who attend Thursday's meeting can:

-Ask questions and offer guidance as the plan moves into the design and code development stage.

-Get detailed answers to questions about site design, transportation, access and other topics of interest.
